Showers and thunderstorms, with a 30% chance of precipitation, might occur mainly after 5 pm. Another somewhat slow week for local government reporters, but at the very least there was the Traffic and Parking Board approving street changes.
There was still plenty of news elsewhere around Alexandria, though, with the Police investigating a vehicle-related death at the former Landmark Mall construction site and the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria continuing to investigate the deaths of three dogs at the Potomac Yard PetSmart.
