This past week saw 36 homes sold in Alexandria.
The least expensive condo, single-family home or townhouse sale over the past seven days was $195,000 while the most expensive was $1,800,000.
(Updated 2:15 p.m.) The Alexandria Police Department is responding to reports of a bank robbery at the Wells Fargo on the 3500 block of Mount Vernon Avenue in the Arlandria neighborhood.
Scanner traffic indicated the call for the robbery came in around 11:54 a.m. There were no injuries and no weapons reported in connection to the robbery.
Kesha and Simba are two 8-year-old cats up for adoption at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.
These two yin and yang kitties are a bonded pair and balance each other perfectly, according to AWLA spokesperson Erin Shackelford.
