If you shopped at a Wegmans grocery store last Wednesday, Aug. 16, your grocery bill may have been steeper than usual.
The chain said the glitch caused shoppers to be double-charged if they used a credit card for their transaction, Patch reported.
The grocery store said the issue was identified and they’re working to get the charges reversed over the next few days.
There are a handful of Wegmans locations around the region and one in Alexandria’s Carlyle neighborhood at 150 Stovall Street.
