For Monday night, skies will be mostly cloudy and temperatures will drop to around 71 degrees, accompanied by a north wind ranging from 3 to 7 mph.

🚨 You need to know

Across Alexandria, roughly 75 restaurants are offering prix fixe — a term I learned from WTOP — meals as part of Alexandria Restaurant Week.

The biannual event sees restaurants offering $25, $35 and $45 per person dinners around the city.

Alexandria’s restaurant week runs through Sunday, Aug. 17. A full menu across all the locations is available online.

Meanwhile, across the Potomac, D.C.’s restaurant week is scheduled to kick off on Monday, Aug. 28 and run through Sunday, Sept. 3.
