Two breweries in Alexandria made Washingtonian’s readers’ favorites list, but neither of them are the one you’re thinking of.
Washingtonian readers ranked Aslin Beer Company, which has a location at 847 S. Pickett Street in Alexandria as well as locations in Herndon, D.C., Pittsburgh and Virginia Beach, as the number one favorite local beer restaurant.
“Cold-weather releases include a pecan-pie-inspired IPA and a rich porter,” the list noted.
In second place was Atlas Brew Works, which opened up a new location in the Carlyle neighborhood earlier this year.
