Far and away the most read story this week was the car crashing into Inova Alexandria Hospital.

The car crashed into Inova’s visitor entrance early Wednesday afternoon. City inspectors were called out to the site to assess the damage to the building, while “no patient care was needed” as the conveniently close hospital took care of the driver.

It was overall a rough week for car stories, with a pedestrian hospitalized with serious injuries this morning after a crash on Duke Street. Last Friday, a flipped car caused delays on I-395.
