Whisky lovers, mark your calendars! The Alexandria Sister Cities’ Whisky Tasting event is set for Saturday, April 26, at 5 p.m. in the Alexandria History Museum at The Lyceum.
Guests will enjoy a guided tasting across the five whisky regions of Scotland, gaining insights into the craftsmanship and culture behind each pour. This informative program will help you learn all about the rich tapestry that is Scotch whisky, enable you to sample five different whiskies from across Scotland, and provide an opportunity to ask questions and share personal insights.
For those looking for an extra special experience, VIP tickets include two additional samples of rare whiskies. Everyone gets to take home a souvenir Glencairn glass.
General admission is $60, while VIP tickets are $80. Both include appetizers. Wine and non-alcoholic drinks will also be available. Purchase Tickets
There’s a raffle with prizes too – you can buy tickets with cash at the event. Remember, you must be 21 or older to attend.
The event supports the Alexandria Sister Cities Committee’s work in promoting educational and cultural exchanges between Alexandria, and its sister cities: Dundee, Scotland, and Helsingborg, Sweden.
