A local juice bar chain is opening a location next year in Old Town, according to the Washington Business Journal.
Greenheart Juice Shop was struggling and closing locations until it was bought by Reese Gardner at the end of 2022. The business was founded in 2013, and sells smoothies, cold-pressed juices, cashew milks and light breakfast items.
There are currently six locations, including a new brick and mortar in Reston, and Gardner told WBJ that he intends to open a location in Old Town. He did not disclose an exact location.
“Northern Virginia’s our home, so we’re trying to fill all of our location gaps before we dig more into D.C. or Maryland,” Gardner told WBJ.
