Today marks the five year anniversary for the launch of local news site ALXnow.
We launched on Oct. 1, 2019 with a Morning Notes post and a story about the School Board’s vote to keep Alexandria City High School — still T.C. Williams High School — as the sole high school in Alexandria.
James Cullum joined the site in December.
ALXnow editor Vernon Miles will also be hosting an AMA on the NoVA subreddit today (just like we did five years ago).
