Alexandria is updating some of its comically outdated code to adjust some of the restrictions on dogs in Alexandria.

The a 10-year-old Lhasa Apso may sometimes resemble the head of a mop, but he’s actually a sweet and snuggly senior pup who loves spending all his time with people, according to the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.
“Bandit’s a pretty chill guy who keeps a slower pace but is always up for a walk or a lap around the yard,” AWLA spokesperson Gina Hardter told ALXnow.

The two-year-old black and white hound mix traveled to the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria all the way from Beirut, Lebanon, with the help of Humane Society International.
Snoopy is known around AWLA for his big smile and propensity for sleeping in. It was in Lebanon that Snoopy was hit by a car and the damage was enough that one his front left leg was removed.
Sara is recovering from knee surgery in the care of a foster family, and her adoption fee has been taken care of by a donor.
“Though she is technically a senior, you’d never guess by her goofy manner and excited personality,” AWLA spokesperson Gina Hardter told ALXnow. “There is nothing she loves more than a good, dedicated snuggle session with her favorite humans.”
