Valentine’s Day has come and gone, but that doesn’t mean it’s too late for love!
As it is February and Adopt a Rescued Rabbit Month, the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria has a number of fluffy rabbits up for adoption.

☀️ Today’s weather: Expect sunny skies and a high near 44 degrees, accompanied by a northwest wind blowing at 8 to 16 mph and gusts reaching up to 25 mph. As the evening approaches, skies will remain mostly clear with the temperature dipping to 27 degrees. The wind will decrease to around 6 mph, eventually calming down after midnight.
(Updated at 9 p.m.) Virginia’s House of Delegates voted to pass the arena bill 59-40, sending the proposal to an uncertain future in the Senate.
Earlier this week, the Democrat-controlled Virginia Senate voted not to table the bill on the arena’s stadium authority for a hearing.

🌧️ Today’s weather: Expect rain and snow before 11am, transitioning to a chance of rain from 11am to 1pm. The day will gradually turn mostly sunny with a high near 45 degrees and breezy conditions, featuring a northwest wind of 15 to 23 mph with gusts up to 37 mph. A 70% chance of precipitation and less than half an inch of new snow accumulation is anticipated. Tuesday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 32 degrees and gusts as high as 22 mph.

🌧️ Today’s weather: Expect rain mainly after 4pm with a cloudy high of 51°F and light east winds. Precipitation has a 70% chance with less than a tenth of an inch possible. Monday night will bring heavier rain and a low of around 41°F, with the east wind increasing up to 10 mph. The precipitation chance will be 100%, with half to three-quarters of an inch possible.
One of the top stories this week was an assault in the Potomac Yard neighborhood.
Late in the evening on Saturday, a woman called the police and said that after parking her car on the 2200 block of Main Line Blvd, an unknown man attacked her, tried to pull her into an alley, and tried to force her pants off.

Friday night, however, brings a 30% chance of showers, primarily after 4 am, along with increasing clouds and a low around 46. The south wind will continue at 3 to 5 mph.
