September 30 is the deadline for parents of Alexandria City Public Schools students to turn in back-to-school forms.

The school system states that the forms assist administrators with updating health information, providing points of contact for students, and addressing other significant changes. ACPS has also released videos in English (see below), SpanishAmharic, and Dari on the forms.

According to ACPS:

Verifying the back-to-school forms online is made easy as families can complete the required forms through PowerSchool.

  • Information from the previous year remains in the system so, in some cases, all that is required is for families to review the forms for accuracy and make any updates, as needed.
  • Updating your student’s health information safeguards their well-being by keeping the school informed of any significant changes.

ACPS also says that the forms help schools get funding for meals and enrichment programs.

Parents with questions are asked to contact their child’s school or email [email protected].
