Update on 9/14 — The victim, who police say sustained minor injuries, died on Wednesday, Sept. 13. Ricky Dehate, 48, has been charged with second-degree murder.
Earlier: The Alexandria Police Department said one person sustained minor injuries in a robbery just before midnight on Monday near Fort Ward.
The robbery reportedly took place near the Park Place condominiums (2500 North Van Dorn Street).
Wallet, keys and cell phone were all taken, per scanner traffic.
