A man who suffered gunshot wounds from a shooting near Potomac Yard last night (Sunday) was transported to the hospital in “serious but stable condition,” according to the Alexandria Police Department.
APD responded to the 400 block of Calvert Avenue just after 9 p.m. last night following multiple reports of gunfire in the area. Upon arrival, officers found a 25-year-old man with gunshot wounds in a parking garage at 450 Swann Avenue and transported him to the hospital. They also recovered shell casings at the scene.
No arrests have been made in connection with this incident, and APD’s Criminal Investigations Division is handling the case.

At approximately 9:02 PM last night, APD officers responded to the 400 block of Calvert Avenue for the report of multiple gunshots heard. Officers arrived and located a 25-year-old male at 450 Swann Avenue’s Parking Garage, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital in serious but stable condition. Officers also located shell casings at the scene. No arrests have been made at this time. Detectives of the APD Criminal Investigations Division are investigating this incident.
