This week in Alexandria: Petting Zoos, Pride Gnomes, ‘The Wall That Heals,’ and Jazz Fest

From creative workshops and family-friendly petting zoos early in the week to a weekend packed with historical reflection and major festivals, there’s no shortage of things to do in Alexandria from June 9-15.

As the week progresses, residents can look forward to the opening of “The Wall That Heals” exhibit, a traveling, three-quarter-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. The week culminates with the 47th Annual Alexandria Jazz Fest at Waterfront Park and the Del Ray Vintage & Flea Market, ensuring a lively weekend for all.
