Bring your concerns and ideas to the Alexandria City Council Town Hall on Thursday

Alexandria City Council is hosting a town hall meeting on Thursday (June 12) from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Charles Houston Recreation Center Gymnasium (901 Wythe Street).

All council members will be present to discuss issues affecting Alexandria residents and provide updates on upcoming projects.

If you would like to ask questions, you can submit them in advance through an online form or in person at the event. The council says this helps give them more time to respond to as many questions as possible.

During her monthly one-on-one conversation with ALXnow on Monday (June 9), Mayor Alyia Gaskins encouraged residents to attend the Town Hall, sharing that this will be the second of four planned town halls for the year, with additional sessions expected in September and November.

“The town halls are an effort by the council to make sure that we are getting out into the community and taking your questions, your concerns, and your ideas,” Gaskins said.
