Nepenthe Gallery is honored to partner with The Alexandria Plein Air Society (APAS) to present a special exhibit showcasing 40-plus paintings by en plein air artists showing for the first time at Nepenthe. In this exhibit, viewers are invited to reconnect with the environment and are reminded of how landscapes shape and inspire. Plein air painters explore the enduring beauty of the landscape by capturing fleeting moments of light, color, and atmosphere in an attempt to preserve moments of stillness, beauty, and connection to place.
