If you’re the kind of person that both has a sweet tooth and likes getting riled up at Board of Architectural Review meetings: there’s an event early next month for you.

Gadsby’s Tavern is hosting its annual Gingerbread Decorating event on Sunday, Dec. 8.

“Learn about local architecture as you decorate a flat ‘façade’ (front) based on historic buildings around Gadsby’s Tavern Museum,” the event listing said. “Ticket includes one flat gingerbread façade, all the supplies needed to decorate, and admission to the museum.”

Tickets are $25 for a decorating set for up to four people. The event is open to families or adult groups with four welcome per ticket. Hot cider is also available for purchase (with an option for spiked cider).

Just don’t add a Twizzler HVAC to the side of your gingerbread house without BAR approval.
