Juveniles say masked suspects chased and fired guns at them in Arlandria Thursday night

No injuries were reported after multiple gunshots were reported in Arlandria on Thursday night.

A group of minors told ALXnow that they were on on the front steps of an apartment building in the 3900 block of Bruce Street when, at around 9:15 p;.m., they were approached by three males in dark clothing wearing ski masks.

“They came up and said in Spanish they were part of some gang,” one witness said. “I ran around these buildings with (another witness) and they were like following us, and they fired gunshots at us.”

The witnesses did not recall the name of the gang, and said that the suspects ran off in the direction of Four Mile Run Park.

The Alexandria Police Department searched Four Mile Run Park and the surrounding area with a K-9, as well as a Fairfax County Police Department helicopter.

Update: Evidence has been located. No injured parties were located, suspects are unknown.

There is a police presence in Four Mile Run Park. APD officers have responded to a call for service for the report of shots fired in the 3900 block of Bruce St. Fairfax One Helicopter & K9 Unit is being used to investigate. No suspects & no victims located at this time.
