Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) students improved their standardized testing scores across the board last year, Patch reported.
Patch reported that new Virginia Department of Education data showed increases in all categories, with the biggest jump in proficiency being a 56% to 64% pass rate in history.
ACPS is, however, still below the state average in every category. ACPS’ weakest category is English reading, with only a 61% pass rate, while writing is the best with a 71% pass rate.
