Alexandria restaurant 1799 Prime (110 S. Pitt Street) was celebrated last month by wine magazine Wine Spectator for its wine list, Alexandria Living Magazine reported.
The Old Town restaurant was one of 63 restaurants in Virginia honored with the Wine Spectator 2024 Restaurant Award.
Two restaurants in Arlington, SER Restaurant and Morton’s, The Steakhouse, won the Wine Spectator award, but 1799 Prime was the only Alexandria restaurant to win.
