Charlie the tabby is waiting for his forever home

Meet Charlie, a 6-year-old up for adoption through the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.

This male tabby has been patiently waiting for a family to call his own!

Charlie is currently in foster, but was very shy at the shelter, according to AWLA spokesperson Erin Shackelford.

His friends had a few things to say about him:

Charlie can be a little bit shy still when meeting new people, but we promise it won’t take long for him to warm up. Once he does, you’re in for a cuddly cat!

Charlie loves to sit on his foster’s lap while she works or casually hang out nearby. He likes to have conversations with his foster parents too and lets out lots of little adorable meows throughout the day.

He also enjoys watching birds (in real life or the TV) and lounging in tents.
