A man was allegedly shot in the face by a coworker at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center (5000 Seminary Road) around 11:20 p.m. last night (Monday), according to the police scanner.
The Alexandria Police Department said the victim was transported to a hospital with serious injuries.
The victim called the police and said he’d been shot in the face by a coworker in the hotel and that the suspect was still on the scene, according to the scanner.
A suspect was taken into custody and a weapon was recovered, police said.
There is a moderate police presence in the 5000 block of Seminary Rd. for a weapon violation. Suspect is in custody and the weapon was recovered. The victim was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.
There is no threat to the public stemming from this incident.
