Dining at Carlyle-area restaurant Sweet Fire Donna’s today can help benefit Carpenter’s Shelter, a refuge for Alexandrians experiencing homelessness.
From noon to 10 p.m. today (Wednesday), anyone dining at Sweet Fire Donna’s (510 John Carlyle Street) can mention Carpenter’s Shelter and 10% of the proceeds will go to the shelter.
A larger Carpenter’s Cook-Off event is scheduled for Oct. 29, at The Birchmere (3701 Mount Vernon Avenue). There, around 20 local restaurants will come together for a tasting event benefitting the shelter.
Oh snap! Come eat at Sweet Fire Donna's on Wednesday, October 4 from 12 noon to 10 pm, and the restaurant will donate 10% of proceeds to Carpenter's Shelter!
