The incident took place just a few blocks from where four juveniles were arrested last week after allegedly eluding police in a stolen vehicle. That incident caused four nearby schools to go into lockdown.
Police also responded to a “robbery from person” call late Sunday/early Monday in the 100 block of West Nelson Avenue between Del Ray and Rosemont. According to the Alexandria Police Department, minor injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
