Two people were displaced after a fire was extinguished in an Arlandria apartment Tuesday evening, according to the Alexandria Fire Department.
AFD responded at around 6:30 p.m. to a kitchen fire on the first floor of a three-story apartment building in the 3800 block of Milan Drive. No injuries were reported, and no neighboring apartments were affected by the fire, according to the fire department.
Firefighters responded to an early morning fire today (Tuesday) that was contained to a high-rise apartment in the Eisenhower Avenue corridor, according to Alexandria Fire Department radio dispatches.

The Alexandria Fire Department rescued two people stuck inside a flipped vehicle in North Ridge on Wednesday.
The vehicle flipped near the intersection of W. Braddock Road and Davis Avenue at around 1:30 p.m. after the driver crashed into a tree. Firefighters rescued the two occupants within 15 minutes, according to AFD dispatches. Both were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
