Alex311, the city of Alexandria’s customer service program, has a new look.

The program announced the launch of its new portal today (Monday), with the latest version of its mobile app debuting next Monday, Dec. 22. The updates promise easy access and quicker navigation.

Alex311 staff gave a presentation on the forthcoming redesign during last night’s City Council legislative meeting (Tuesday). The updates call for investment in tools like chatbots and virtual agents with multilingual capabilities.

School Board Approves New Budget — “The Alexandria City School Board has approved an Operating Budget for the 2020-21 school year focused on supporting students socially, emotionally and academically while also increasing graduation rates.
