For those pursuing hoppiness this weekend, look no further than the Port City Brewing Company’s third annual Port to Port Beer Festival on Saturday (Aug. 8).
From noon to 4 p.m., more than 20 breweries from across the country are bringing their best brews for the festival at Port City (3950 Wheeler Avenue). Tickets cost $60 and get you a bottomless five-ounce glass for unlimited pours, access to outdoor yard games and music from a DJ.
Festivalgoers can also upgrade their tickets with a VIP breakfast burrito brunch starting at 11 a.m.
Port City will also release WitFerrari, a new collaboration with Richmond-based The Veil.
“WitFerrari is an American-style Wit which highlights the talents of both breweries,” Port City said in a release. “WitFerrari has a smooth, creamy mouthfeel with a sunny light-yellow color, subtle citrus notes, and a balanced, rounded bitterness. Festival-goers will be able to taste the beer during the event and take home a 4-pack if they fall in love!”
