The Fish Market, a fixture on lower King Street in Old Town, will celebrate its 50th anniversary this Thursday (July 23).
The one-night-only party starts at 5 p.m. with live music, a throwback menu and 32-ounce beer schooners.
“We’re bringing it back with a throwback menu, live music, and the kind of energy only Old Town knows how to do right,” the restaurant said on Instagram. “The classics, the crowd favorites, the memories — all in one night.”
The Fish Market was founded in 1976 at 105 King Street by Ray Giovannoni and was sold to Franco and Noe Landini in 2010. The Landinis renovated the 200-year-old building, sprucing up its bar and multiple dining rooms.
