A new rooftop bar called Good Fortune opened last week at Old Town’s brand new Hotel Heron (699 Prince Street) and it’s planning to capitalize on its scenic view with a 4th of July event.
The bar is hosting a party called “Red, White and Views” celebrating the new scenic view of the Potomac River and D.C.
“Those looking to celebrate the nation’s birthday can do so at the first Red, White, and Views party at Good Fortune, Old Town Alexandria’s newest rooftop bar, this July 4th from 7-11 p.m.” the bar said in an email. “Tickets include a special festive cocktail and a chance to enjoy incredible views of the fireworks while music by DJ Ulises Morello keeps the crowd entertained all night long.”
Tickets are $20 for general admission and including a 4th of July cocktail. There are “guaranteed seating” tickets for $50 but they’re currently sold out.
