Notes: Carjacking pursuit ends with crash on Quaker Lane into Alexandria Police cruiser

An Alexandria police officer sustained minor injuries after a pursuit following a carjacking ended with a crash on Quaker Lane.

The Alexandria Police Department (APD) said in a tweet that APD was assisting the Arlington County Police Department in the pursuit of a carjacked vehicle around 4 a.m. this morning (Thursday).

The pursuit ended at N. Quaker Lane and Preston Road between the Fairlington and North Ridge neighborhoods.

The suspect was uninjured in the crash and was apprehended. An APD officer sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital.
