It’s spring and your organization’s potential customers have emerged from Covid hibernation. Are you reaching them where they’re spending their time?
Nearly 110,000 readers visited ALXnow over the past month, according to Quantcast. What’s more, a survey earlier this year revealed that these readers are largely receptive of messages from local businesses.
- 68% of more than 300 respondents said they would like to see more ads from local businesses on ALXnow
- 17% said they had made a purchase or taken an action based on an ad or post on ALXnow
As an advertiser, you should want to target your ads to local readers while they’re in a local mindset. Luckily, ALXnow allows you to do just that, and we recently added a number of options to our new media kit, including:
- Contests
- Polls
- Social media blasts
- And more
Our advertising is priced to be affordable to a broad range of local businesses and organizations. Reach out to our team via the form below and we’ll help find the best marketing solution to you. As an added bonus, your ad investment will help support local news reporting in your community.

Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!
