King Street Work Near Alexandria City High School to Begin July 6 — “Scheduled work will enhance pedestrian, bicycle, and transit infrastructure in the project area and includes the expansion of two bus stops near the school. Scheduled work will improve access to Alexandria City High School by enhancing pedestrian, transit, and bicycle infrastructure in the area. Alexandria Fire Department Wins Grant for Clean Water Upgrades — “Many of our stations rely on aging plumbing, where our members have had to buy their own bottled water or water filtration systems to stay properly hydrated on shift.
