Reminder on Housing 2040 Review by Planning Commission Tuesday — “The Office of Housing is pleased to announce the release of the Draft Housing 2040 Plan for public review. The Draft Plan will be heard by the Planning Commission as part of the June 2, 2026 docket.” [City of Alexandria]

Bus Driver in Fatal I-95 Crash Arrested — “The driver of the charter bus that struck at least eight vehicles in Stafford County on Friday, killing five and injuring 44, has been taken into custody on Saturday.” [DC News Now]

New SNAP Requirements Beginning — “The changes could mean millions of Americans will no longer receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits.
