The library at Alexandria City High School’s Minnie Howard campus has successfully gotten crowdsource funding for LEGO architecture kits.

The school librarian raised $755 from a dozen givers via Donors Choose for kits that include Malfoy Manor from the Harry Potter book series, the Great Pyramid of Giza, and the Statue of Liberty.

The kits allow students to have a creative maker-space and engage in “creative problem-solving and STEM-based (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) activities,” according to the Donors Choose listing.

“We are so grateful for your generous donation to our Bricks & Books project,” wrote school librarian LaGina Gross. “Thanks to you, our students will have hands-on opportunities to build, design, and create in our library makerspace. Your support inspires curiosity and creativity every single day. Thank you for making a difference. We couldn’t do this without amazing supporters like you!”
