The Chamber ALX will host its highly anticipated 2025 Legislative Reception on Thursday, Sept. 4, bringing together business leaders and elected officials for an evening of networking and policy discussion at The Alexandrian Hotel.
The event, presented by Transurban and running from 5:30 to 7 p.m., will feature confirmed appearances from several key legislators including State Sen. Adam Ebbin, Majority Leader Delegate Charniele Herring, Delegate Elizabeth Bennett-Parker, Delegate Alfonso Lopez, Mayor Alyia Gaskins, Councilwoman Jacinta Greene and Councilman Kirk McPike. The reception provides a rare opportunity for direct dialogue between the business community and policymakers in a relaxed setting.
A highlight of the evening will be the unveiling of the Chamber’s 2026 Legislative Agenda, offering attendees an early glimpse at the priorities that will shape Alexandria and the broader region’s future. The agenda release has become a signature element of the annual reception, setting the stage for the Chamber’s advocacy efforts in the coming year.
Tickets are priced at $55 for Chamber members and $70 for prospective members, with the event taking place at The Alexandrian on King Street in Old Town Alexandria. The reception continues the Chamber’s tradition of facilitating meaningful connections between the business community and elected officials who influence local and regional policy.
