“A sign of good things to come, Alexandria,” Homegrown posted on Facebook. “Our signage is up and we’re excited to open our new breakfast, brunch and lunch eatery AUG 11 in Old Town, 1600 King Street.”

The restaurant features brunch fare with cage-free eggs, homemade pastries, and fresh-squeezed orange juice, alongside mimosas and Bloody Marys. It’s also serves coffee from Swing’s Coffee Roasters in Alexandria.

According to its website, HomeGrown will be open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The restaurant is also hiring servers, hosts, and cooks.
