Notes: Alexandria featured as a top travel destination for spring on TODAY Show

Alexandria was mentioned on the TODAY Show on Monday as one of the top spring travel destinations. Jacqui Gifford, editor-in-chief of Travel + Leisure, highlighted Alexandria’s proximity to D.C.’s cherry blossoms and water taxi access as well as the city’s historic character, independent businesses along King Street and the Torpedo Factory Art Center. Each destination in the segment includes a hotel property; Hotel Heron was highlighted as where to stay in Alexandria.
