The new Inova medical campus in Alexandria is coming to life. Four tower cranes are hard at work, lifting materials as the foundation starts to take form at the old Landmark Mall site, according to Inova.
Inova shared an update on Monday, highlighting the progress. Retaining walls and structural foundations are now visible, with ongoing excavation for footers and concrete columns rising from the ground. It’s an exciting glimpse of the cutting-edge facility to come.
“This new medical campus will take our already excellent care to the next level,” Inova said in a Facebook post. They’re focused on creating a space that will serve the community for years to come.
The project is transforming part of the former mall into what Inova calls “a new home for world-class healthcare.”
