Virginia Mercury reported what the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is moving forward with changes to Metrobus in Northern Virginia, including changes to Alexandria specifically.
In Alexandria, the changes (page 38) would preserve rush hour service in Brookville along Taney Avenue, Park Place Condominiums and south Fairlington, while consolidating and streamlining service between Shirlington and South Fairlington, Virginia Mercury reported.
The plan is to roll out the service plan changes by this coming June.
