The menu at Zuki Moon Asian Kitchen and Cocktail Bar has been replaced.

It’s been a year since the restaurant at 1909 Mount Vernon Avenue was rebranded from KAiZEN Tavern into the Japanese-Filipino gastro bar (complete with AI artwork — see the hands of Ting Ting), the dining options have changed yet again.

On Sunday it was announced that the restaurant has been “taken over” by the owners of the Mang Eton Filipino Food truck in Del Ray.

“The Zuki Moon space will remain, but the flavors, flair and creativity will be all Mang Eton,” the Zuki Moon team said in a press release.

Restaurant owner Daniel Wharam first opened KAiZEN Tavern in 2014, offering sushi with a blend of Latin, Asian and American cuisine. Wharam and his wife also own Grape & Bean and Fontaine Caffe & Creperie.
