Artwork from George Washington’s private collection is being auctioned off at an Alexandria auction house, Alexandria Living Magazine reported.

The artwork in question is a pastel portrait of St. John the Evangelist. The artwork is being auctioned at The Potomack Company, a prestigious local auction house that also offered up Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s collar and other notable items.

Alexandria Living Magazine reported that the item is particularly special as one of the few pieces of openly religious art displayed at Mount Vernon, possibly because St. John the Evangelist is the patron saint of Freemasonry, an order of which George Washington was a member.

The artwork is expected to go for somewhere between $250,000-500,000.
