Notes: Alexandria elected officials condemn Trump shooting

Rep. Don Beyer (D-8th) and both Senators Mark Warner and Tim Kaine shared messages on social media condemning the shooting at a Donald Trump rally this weekend that one attendee killed and two critically injured. The former president was injured and the shooter was also killed.

 

The messages were also shared by Alexandria’s local elected leaders, with Mayor Justin Wilson and City Council member Kirk McPike retweeting the condolences.
