Notes: Alexandria man arrested for McDonald’s bathroom shooting and robbery last week

The Alexandria Police Department (APD) arrested 20-year-old Alexandria resident Michael Anthony Carr Jr. for the shooting and robbery at a Landmark neighborhood McDonald’s bathroom last week.

Police said in the release that Carr is charged with robbery, malicious wounding, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Carr and the victim reportedly knew each other and were fighting when things escalated, APD said. Scanner traffic indicated the victim was shot in the leg in the bathroom.
