Notes: Little Theatre of Alexandria puts out casting call for local dogs

🌤️ Today’s weather: Expect mostly cloudy skies to gradually clear by mid-morning, giving way to a high of around 44 degrees. The northwest wind will start between 6 to 11 mph and increase to 12 to 17 mph in the afternoon, potentially gusting up to 25 mph. Tonight, the skies will be clear with a low of approximately 25 degrees, while the northwest wind continues at 6 to 14 mph, with gusts reaching up to 21 mph.

Does your dog have star power?

Zebra reported that the Little Theatre of Alexandria (LTA) is looking for dogs to take the role of Sandy in an upcoming production of Annie.

LTA is looking for 2-4 dogs to alternate between performances.

The dogs must be:

  • Your dog must be friendly towards people of all ages, particularly children, and comfortable with crowds.
  • Must be house-trained and trained to sit, stay, and come on command (off the lead).
  • During the show, your dog will be on stage in front of bright lights, large crowds, and with lots of noises, so must not be easily scared.
  • Fur must be light-colored (any shade that could pass as ‘sandy’)

The show is set to run from Feb. 10 to March 2 with shows 5-6 nights per week.
