A seven-year-old was critically injured after being hit by the driver of an SUV on Saturday.
The boy was hit around 1 p.m. on Saturday in an apartment complex parking lot on the 400 block of North Armistead Street near Lincolnia.
The driver stayed on the scene and the boy was taken to a hospital with critical and life-threatening injuries.
