Jet’s Pizza, a Detroit-style pizza chain, could be opening sometime next month in the Lynhaven neighborhood near Arlandria.
The restaurant is set to open in 6 E. Glebe Road, the Washington Business Journal first reported. The new shop will be taking the place of the now-closed Auburn Cleaners.
Detroit-style pizza is square-shaped and has a thick crust — the unique design coming from being originally baked in the rectangular steel trays used in automotive manufacturing.
Most of the ingredients for the pizza at Jet’s are made in-house, the Washington Business Journal reported, from the dough and sauce to the ranch dressing.
