Avian enthusiasts should flock to the Alexandria Commons Shopping Center: there’s a new store dedicated to bird feeders.

Alexandria Living Magazine first reported that The Backyard Bird Feeder was coming to 3225 Duke Street sometime this fall.

The company’s website said the Alexandria location is now open, having moved there from across the street.

“We are now in Alexandria Commons, two doors down from Frank Pepe’s Pizzeria,” the company’s website said. “Please come and see our new space!”

There are also Backyard Bird Feeder locations in Burke, Woodbridge, Oakton and Bethesda.
