Notes: School of Rock Alexandria students have concert with members of Congress

Students in School of Rock Alexandria, a music school just off Duke Street, had some unusual bandmates at an event last week: members of Congress.

The students played with Rep. Ashley Hinson (R-IA) and Rep. Max Frost (D-FL) at an event in D.C. last week, Zebra reported.

The Alexandria students were joined by students from Haymarket and D.C. School of Rock franchises.

The Hill-Apalooza event welcomed new members of Congress to D.C.
