
There were no injuries, but also no arrests, after two shots fired incidents this past weekend around Alexandria.
The first was on the 4700 block of Kenmore Avenue, just across from Francis C. Hammond Middle School in the West End early Saturday morning.

The second incident, just a day later, was further south on the 5500 block of Holmes Run Parkway, near the former Landmark Mall development.

Alexandria police spokesperson Marcel Bassett said, as of Tuesday, no arrest has been made in either incident.
“They are both still being investigated,” Bassett said, “but no arrests have been made as of yet.”
